Honkajoki Oy was granted licence to export processed animal protein (PAP) to South Africa and Thailand
“The purity of our product convinces customers”
The officials in the receiving countries have granted Honkajoki Oy licences to import processed animal protein (PAP) into South Africa and Thailand. Reetta Nevala, who manages exports at Honkajoki Oy, says that Europe currently faces a strong demand for clean and high-quality processed animal protein (PAP).
“These two market areas are unable to produce processed animal protein (PAP) in sufficient amounts to meet their increasing needs. Our products already carry a reputation of purity and high quality in these areas, and the people there are very much looking forward to the upcoming export”, Nevala says.
According to Nevala, there is high demand for clean and pure processed animal protein (PAP) in global markets.
“The Finnish process is already widely acknowledged around the world for its excellent reputation. We strive to be synonymous with cleanness, which is the core feature of our produce. We strongly believe that an increasing emphasis will be put on high quality, when it comes to circular economy and organic nutrients”, Nevala concludes.
