The 2020 Sustainability Report has been published!
According to a recent UN report, Finland was ranked first in the comparison of sustainable development, which included 160 countries. Finland’s ranking shows that we have, at least almost, succeeded in our goals of alleviating poverty, reducing health, water, energy, peace and the rule of law and inequality.
In Honkajoki, it is important for us to take into account the goals set by the UN in our responsibility work and to try our best to participate in the realization of these goals. With regard to emissions in particular, we aim to monitor developments at our production facilities in the long term and to improve performance, especially in terms of environmental impact.
Despite the challenges posed by Covid-19, 2020 was financially good for us and we were able to improve our results.
