Honkajoki Oy has achieved the Silver level in its very first EcoVadis sustainability assessment. The recognition highlights the company’s long-term commitment to promoting sustainability, environmental responsibility, and ethical business practices.
EcoVadis is one of the world’s most renowned corporate sustainability assessment systems. It evaluates companies across four key areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The Silver level is awarded to companies that rank among the top 15 percent of all assessed organizations globally.
— “Achieving the Silver level already in our first assessment is a great recognition of our team’s commitment to sustainability and continuous improvement. It shows that we are on the right path and that our work toward a sustainable future is yielding results,” says Reetta Nevala, Sustainability Director, Honkajoki Oy.
What does the result mean?
EcoVadis awards medals based on a company’s percentile rank, which reflects how its sustainability performance compares to all companies assessed by EcoVadis during the previous 12 months — across all industries.
