Honkajoki Oy awarded Silver level in its first EcoVadis sustainability assessment

Honkajoki Oy has achieved the Silver level in its very first EcoVadis sustainability assessment. The recognition highlights the company’s long-term commitment to promoting sustainability, environmental responsibility, and ethical business practices.

EcoVadis is one of the world’s most renowned corporate sustainability assessment systems. It evaluates companies across four key areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The Silver level is awarded to companies that rank among the top 15 percent of all assessed organizations globally.

“Achieving the Silver level already in our first assessment is a great recognition of our team’s commitment to sustainability and continuous improvement. It shows that we are on the right path and that our work toward a sustainable future is yielding results,” says Reetta Nevala, Sustainability Director, Honkajoki Oy.

What does the result mean?

EcoVadis awards medals based on a company’s percentile rank, which reflects how its sustainability performance compares to all companies assessed by EcoVadis during the previous 12 months — across all industries.
