Honkajoki Oy celebrated the opening of its new LIKE plant on 2 December in the Kirkkokallio area with a formal ceremony attended by a wide range of important stakeholders, including owners, customers, city representatives and other partners.
The opening ceremony was initiated by CEO Janne Lukkarinen, who cut the red ribbon with the assistance of Sales Director Tiina Sirkjärvi and Heikki Suontausta, Production Manager of the new LIKE facility. The event was honoured by the presence of Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Sari Essayah, whose participation added a distinguished atmosphere to the celebration.
Mika Hatanpää, Mayor of Kankaanpää, delivered a speech highlighting the importance of cooperation between the city and the operators in the Kirkkokallio area. His remarks certainly inspired the attendees and strengthened the sense of community. The atmosphere was warm and the discussions lively, and the delicious catering along with excellent arrangements crowned the successful celebration.
